Purrsonnel:

Jody Hunsaker-Haller

I have lived and worked in Austin since 1995. After trying my hand at corporate event planning, film promotion, and theater management, I realized that my true calling was being around furry creatures. The decision to incorporate my lifelong love of animals into my everyday life was a no-brainer. Furry Godmothers is an extension of something that I've believed since childhood-pets are family and should always be treated as such.

Over the years I have helped find loving homes for many strays, volunteered at Austin Pets Alive, Austin Animal Shelter, and the ASPCA. My diabetic one eared cat, Stevie, and I were featured on the cover of the Austin Pets Directory and I was interviewed by NPR's Marketplace about the economics of caring for a sick pet. I actively make animals a priority in my household and strive to instill that love and compassion for all living creatures into the lives of my two sons, Levi and Silas.

I love getting to know my clients (and their owners) and take great pride in the services Furry Godmothers provides. I understand the importance of trusting that your pet is being loved and that every need is met while you are away. You can relax knowing that Furry Godmothers is there when you can't be.

With my sweet Percy.

Here I am at age 8 with my cat, Red.
